This is a short blog.  I have no real time to devote to a long one here, except to ask you all if you would pray for me to be patient for God’s providence in my missions funds and ask him to give me calm and focus in the current stressful schedule I have.  I have only $500 buckaroos in my account, $100 of which is my deposit.  I have a college graduation this week, errands to run, shots to take, information to gather…much of which I’m sure you all have already done or are currently doing, so I’m sure you can identify.

Yesterday at work I had a moment where I snapped at an innocent coworker.  I had to deal with some customers that were inconsiderate to a point beyond my comprehension, and I had to clean up the mess all myself as well as continue to do my job (by the way, if you go shopping today, be really, really, really nice to retail clerks; they go through a lot).

On top of that, I was called to come in early today.  Not what I planned, and certainly not helpful with other obstacles God has lovingly challenged me with this week.

God never gives us anything we cannot handle.  Heck, he’s probably given a fraction of that to me.

I read in Psalm 27:13-14 this morning that one should be strong and wait for God.  This makes me chuckle in a sense…don’t ever pray for patience and trust unless you know what you are getting yourself into.  You’ll see it in the aftermath and in retrospect.

This is an open invitation to all to share prayer requests with me as well.  That is one thing that does not stress me out.  I believe that prayer is a great stress relief….no neck massages needed.  Although one of those would be swell right about now.

Have a wonderful week everyone!  Que Dios les bendiga!
